Dan Coward, Chief Fire Officer - Christchurch Metro Fire AreaCoward manages the Christchurch Metro Fire Area as the Area Manager, including a statutory role of the Chief Fire Officer, Christchurch Fire District under the Fire Services Act. He now progresses to the National Finals in Auckland on 26 November at the Deloitte TOP200 gala banquet in Auckland competing against two other regional winners, Dave Larsen from Auckland and Tracey Berry from Wellington. Coward was nominated for the award by Rob Saunders, Fire Region Manager for the New Zealand Fire Service. Coward’s role is to provide the leadership, management and development of the Christchurch District to meet and deliver both operational and community expectations in line with our vision and mission statement. This requires supporting and challenging the management group of the district and 18 senior/station officers, 190 Firefighters, 6 Chief Fire Officers from Volunteer Brigades, three District Support Officers, two Fire Safety Officers and one Training Officer, in meeting the values of the organisation its delivery in the community. |

Tracey Berry, General Manager, Wealth at KiwibankTracey is the General Manager, Wealth at Kiwibank and is responsible for developing, leading and managing their wealth investment business, as well as growing their insurance portfolios in line with the business’ overall strategic direction. Tracy has only been in this role for just over 12 months but has already achieved a great deal for the organisation. She is obviously extremely good at, and passionate about, what she does. She also has an amazing amount of energy! |
