The New Zealand Institute of Management is seeking young leaders, innovators, team builders and high achievers, to step forward and be recognised for the positive impact they have on the growth, productivity, and morale of their employing enterprise.
Chief Executives and other organisational leaders should be identifying and nominating your best and brightest young leaders for this award. Now in its 16th year, the NZIM/Eagle Technology Young Executive of the Year Award was established by the New Zealand Institute of Management and NZ Management magazine to recognise stand-out individuals who are prepared to go beyond perceived limitations and strive for personal and organisational excellence.
Nominees must have New Zealand citizenship, and be 35 years of age or younger as at 31 December 2011. Nominees must have been employed by their organisation for more than six months, and hold a middle or senior management position.
All entries must be received no later than 5pm Wednesday, 18 May 2011. NOTE. Applications are now closed.
Finalists must be able to travel within New Zealand for judging and to attend the regional and national events.
The judges reserve the right not to select a winner where entries are deemed to be below the required standard. The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

All entrants will automatically be eligible for the supreme award of NZIM/Eagle Technology Young Executive of the Year.

All nominees are entered into first round Regional Awards Southern, Central and Northern. The winners of these awards are announced at NZIM functions in Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland. The three regional winners then become finalists for the NZIM/Eagle Technology Young Executive of the Year Award.
The overall winner will be announced at the Deloitte/Management Top 200 Awards dinner in Auckland in November (see below for details). This winner receives an attractive granite and gold-plated bronze trophy and Executive Management Development training with NZIM to the value of $5,000 (some conditions apply).
This year's NZIM/Eagle Technology Young Executive of the Year also receives a travel prize.
The overall winner wasounced at the Deloitte/Management magazine Top 200 Awards dinner at SkyCity, Auckland.
